July 1 Community Picnic 2023 - Food Truck Application

Welcome! This form is for expressions of interest in being a food truck vendor at the City of Waterloo's July 1 Community Picnic event in Waterloo Park.

In 2022, the City hosted it's first July 1 Community Picnic and it was incredibly successful with all food trucks selling out by the end of the day. This year, we're back and going bigger! We're inviting more food trucks to participate!

This event will be hosted in Waterloo Park. The City of Waterloo event (to be held from 4pm - 10pm) will be a community-focused event with a stage featuring local musicians, giant outdoor games, interactive booths and the night ends with a 15 minute drone light show. Community members will be invited to picnic in Waterloo Park (either bringing their own food or purchasing food from the food trucks).

We are currently looking for a variety of local food trucks with a variety of food options. There will not be a vendor fee to participate in this event in 2023 (this may change for subsequent years) as this is only the second year we've hosted this event and we are still collecting metrics.

This application form will stay open until June 1, 2023 however applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and we encourage you to apply as early as possible.
