Welcome! This form is for expressions of interest in being a food truck vendor at the City of Waterloo's Lumen Festival on Saturday, September 23 from 6 - 11 p.m. in uptown Waterloo.
Lumen is an annual, free for all-ages festival that is open to the public and run by the City of Waterloo’s Arts and Creative Industries team, Create Waterloo. The event features the work of artists as they explore the interplay of light, art, and technology in installations located throughout uptown Waterloo. Last years festival boasted over 30 installations along with performances from over 50 local and international award-winning artists as well as welcoming more than 30,000 people to uptown Waterloo. This year we plan to do just the same!
For the last two years, the City of Waterloo has invited food trucks to participate in Lumen. This year we're going bigger and inviting more food trucks to join! Food trucks will be located in one of three key areas; the Visitor Information Centre, Waterloo Public Square or the Waterloo Public Library (where majority of the trucks will be).
We are currently looking for a variety of local food trucks with a variety of food options. There will not be a vendor fee to participate in Lumen in 2023.This application form will stay open until August 31, 2023 however applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and we encourage you to apply as early as possible.
