Adopt-A-Road Application form

Adopt-a-Road is a program for volunteer participants to clean up garbage along selected roadways in Waterloo through regular litter cleanups, thereby contributing to a cleaner environment.

We ask your organization to commit to a biannual - twice a year - cleanup of the grassed area of the road section for a minimum of five years. We will supply your Group leader with mandatory training and supplies. Your organization's efforts will be recognized with a sign along your "adopted" road section.

Please ensure a complete understanding of the Adopt-A-Road Community Guide before submitting your request to initiate your project below.  (Note: Regional roads are managed by the Region of Waterloo Transporation Services).

Personal information requested on this form is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, and will be used by the City of Waterloo for initiating an Adopt-A-Road project on an approved roadway in Waterloo.  Questions regarding this collection should be directed to City of Waterloo, Environment & Parks Services @ 519-886-2310.
