Support local, support Waterloo

The City of Waterloo is proud to launch the Support Local campaign—an initiative designed to spotlight the businesses that shape our community. As part of the campaign, local businesses can access free print and digital materials to help share their unique story, highlight their roots to Waterloo, and encourage residents to shop and support local.
These materials are more than just promotional tools—they’re a way to connect with the community, inspire loyalty, and show how local businesses contribute to Waterloo’s identity and economy. By shopping local, residents help create jobs, fuel innovation, and keep our city vibrant.
By participating, your business will join a collective effort to strengthen our local economy, foster community pride, and ensure a thriving future for Waterloo businesses.
The resources are free for eligible businesses, with some items having limited quantities.
Resources include:
- a guide for local business owners to participate in the campaign
- customizable digital templates and graphics
- printed materials, including stickers and decals delivered to your business
Digital materials will be distributed by email and will include downloadable, customizable templates. Print materials will be delivered to eligible businesses by City staff or through mail service providers.
