Request a new city tree for your boulevard

Use this form to ask the city to plant a tree on the boulevard near your property.

How the tree planting program works

Before planting:

• forestry staff review your request and confirm if a tree can be planted
• species are chosen based on the site and conditions
• planting a new tree depends on space, utilities and site conditions – unfortunately we can't approve all requests

When we plant:

• planting usually happens in spring or fall
• replacement trees are planted only after the old stump is removed
• you’ll get a notice at your door on planting day with the tree species listed

All city trees are protected under the City Tree Bylaw.

Personal information is being collected under the authority of s. 28 (2) of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) and will be used to provide tree services.
