Partners in Parks community stewardship activity

Between May to October, make a difference in your neighbourhood park in Waterloo by organizing a small community stewardship activity for your group.

Activities include community litter cleanup, mulching woodland trails, managing invasive buckthorn, and bird house maintenance for bird houses along the Walter Bean Trail.

The City provides cloth gloves, supplies and hand tools.  City staff deliver an orientation and monitor tasks during each activity, with the exception of community litter cleanup, whereby the group leader assumes this responsibility.  The group leader directly supervises group participants with suitable tasks.

Refer to the Partners in Parks webpage to review the activity information sheet of interest.  Pay attention to timing of when the activity can take place.

If you are 18 years of age or older, complete the form below to initiate your group activity a minimum one month in advance.
